Malcolm Rowland is Emeritus Professor, University of Manchester, England. His main research interests are basic and theoretical aspects of pharmacokinetics, especially physiologic pharmacokinetics. He is the author of over 250 research articles, reviews and book chapters, and is a co-editor of the Journal of Pharmacokinetics and Pharmacodynamics. Together with Dr T N Tozer, Professor Rowland has written Clinical Pharmacokinetics: Concepts and Applications, 3rd, 1995.He consults for the pharmaceutical industry and government. Professor Rowland has been made a Fellow of the Academy of Medical Sciences, Royal Pharmaceutical Society of Great Britain and the American Association of Pharmaceutical Scientists, as well as honorary fellow of the American College of Clinical Pharmacology.
